James Kaprielian Picks Up Win Versus Giants On Friday
3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher James Kaprielian allowed one run in five innings to pick up his seventh win on Friday versus the Giants. Kaprielian walked a fine line in this one as he allowed three hits and four walks, but the only run San Fran could scratch together came on a Mike Yastrzemski solo homer. He picked up four strikeouts, which isn't great, but still represents an improvement over his last start when he only had one K. Kaprielian has been a nice find for A's and fantasy managers alike as he's 7-4 with a solid 3.25 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP, and a 24% strikeout rate. He's facing a tough Yankees lineup next time out, but the game is in Oakland, so it's worth rolling the dice with Kap in that matchup.
