James Kaprielian Plagued By Long Ball In No Decision Thursday
3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher James Kaprielian allowed six runs across five innings in a no-decision versus the Yankees on Thursday. Kaprielian picked up eight strikeouts to salvage some fantasy value, but he was hit hard by New York as Kaprielian allowed three homers to the Bronx Bombers. This was a rough outing for the rookie, but Kaprielian has been good overall for Oakland as he's 7-4 with a 3.65 ERA, a 1.19 WHIP, and is averaging more than a strikeout per inning. He's a must-start fantasy option at Detroit in his next scheduled start.
