James Kaprielian Posts Another Short Start Versus Rangers
3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher James Kaprielian allowed four runs across just 3 2/3 innings to take the loss Sunday versus Texas. Kaprielian has now failed to complete the fifth inning in three straight starts and has completed the sixth inning just once in his last eight starts. The rookie was a solid fantasy contributor early in the season, but his second-half ERA is a ghastly 5.40 while his K/9 has dipped to under a strikeout-per-inning. He's got a good matchup with the Angels next time out, but at this point, Kaprielian shouldn't be trusted in fantasy lineups.
