3 years agoOakland A's right-hander James Kaprielian (shoulder) will make his next rehab start for Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday. Kaprielian was placed on the injured list at the start of the season after dealing with AC joint irritation during spring training. He made one previous rehab start last week with Low-A Stockton and allowed two runs over five innings of work. Kaprielian could be ticketed for a return to the Oakland starting rotation if his rehab appearance on Wednesday goes smoothly. The 28-year-old posted an 8-5 record with a 4.07 ERA with 123 strikeouts over 119 1/3 innings of work during the 2021 season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
