3 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher James Karinchak threw a scoreless ninth inning while allowing one hit and striking out two in Friday night's 2-1 win over the Kansas City Royals. One night after blowing the save and earning the win, Karinchak earned the win the right way in this one as Bobby Bradley walked off the Royals in the bottom of the ninth. Karinchak and Emmanuel Clase will continue to share save opportunities and both should be owned in all formats based on their ratios. Karinchak will carry a 6-2 record with nine saves, a 2.52 ERA, and 68 strikeouts across 39 1/3 innings pitched into his next appearance.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
