James McCann Comes Up Triple Short Of Cycle
3 years agoNew York Mets catcher James McCann had his best game of the year Saturday night, going 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, two singles, two RBI, and three runs scored. Filling in at first base for the injured Pete Alonso has clearly agreed with McCann, as he's slashed .318/.375/.682 over his last seven games. McCann would have plenty of fantasy value, especially in two-catcher leagues, if he can regain his power stroke from a year ago when he produced an .896 OPS.
