3 years agoNew York Mets catcher James McCann (back) isn't starting on Thursday against the Dodgers, although there is a slight chance he could be available in some capacity, according to manager Luis Rojas. McCann continues to deal with back spasms, and while the team is hoping he avoids a trip to the injured list, it remains a possibility, nonetheless. Patrick Mazeika will serve as the backstop once again after he was called up from Triple-A Syracuse on Monday. The 27-year-old is batting .276 throughout 18 games with the big club this season, so DFS enthusiasts should consider him a value option with upside against Los Angeles.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
