4 years agoNew York Mets catcher James McCann went 2-for-3, with two runs scored, in Grapefruit League action against the Astros on Saturday. McCann is now batting .429 in the early days of spring training. McCann posted a .289/.360/.536 slash line to go with seven home runs and 15 RBI in the shortened 2020 season with the White Sox. Heading into 2021, his first season with the Mets, McCann will be the team's primary catcher assured of regular playing time while hitting in a potent lineup. With an ADP of 195, McCann makes for a very solid catcher selection in the later rounds of mixed-league drafts once the top catchers are off the board.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
