James Paxton Dominant In Final Spring Start
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton had a dominant outing Saturday against the San Francisco Giants, striking out nine batters in four innings while only yielding two hits and two walks. It was only Paxton's second game appearance of the spring, as he was held back from Cactus League action due to visa issues. Across both starts, Paxton threw 8.1 innings and struck out 17 batters while allowing only a single run. Paxton should start the second game of the regular season, once again facing these San Francisco Giants. With an ADP of 208, Paxton is already looking like a potential draft value for fantasy managers.
