James Paxton Looks Ready For Tuesday Return
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton (back) was able to throw a 40-pitch bullpen session on Saturday and looks poised to return to the team's rotation on Tuesday. Following his bullpen session, Paxton said, "It feels good, everything is all good." Paxton has been out of action since July 12 with lower back stiffness. When healthy, Paxton has pitched to a an 8-4 record with a 3.70 ERA and a 155/33 K/BB ratio. He also threw a no-hitter in May this season against the Blue Jays. Assuming he returns Tuesday he'll be safe to use in both season-long and daily leagues against the White Sox.
