James Paxton To Play Catch Saturday
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton (illness) will play catch on Saturday and could rejoin the team in a few days. Paxton is dealing with pneumonia and was forced to miss his next start. While it looks like he's getting better, it hasn't been announced when he'll make his next start. The left-hander has been the team's ace after going 11-6 with a 3.83 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 194 K's in 150 1/3 innings across 26 starts. While he'll be a bit more risky the next time he takes the mound, his fantasy owners will have a hard time benching him.
