2 years agoBoston Red Sox left-hander James Paxton (elbow) is turning a corner in his rehab from Tommy John surgery after he was delayed due to posterior left elbow soreness. "He threw up to 150 [feet], I think it was, two days ago," manager Alex Cora said on June 6. "He played catch today again. He's pushing to get on the mound so that's a good sign. Hopefully by the end of this week, he'll continue his progress and hop on the mound probably starting next week, which is huge for us too." The 33-year-old southpaw is slowly making his way back and should be an option for the Red Sox's starting rotation in the second half of the season, barring any further setbacks.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
