James Robinson A Non-Factor In Brutal Week 13 Loss
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson carried just eight times for 24 yards while adding one catch for 11 yards in the team's blowout loss to the Rams in Week 13. Robinson lost a fumble early on in the game and head coach Urban Meyer immediately benched him in favor of Carlos Hyde. However, Hyde ironically went on to fumble later in the game, so the two ended up roughly splitting the work with Hyde out-touching Robinson 10-9. Nagging injuries, questionable coaching, and an overall poor offensive environment have taken their toll on Robinson as the season has progressed. While the star back has plenty of talent, he projects as a mid to low-end RB2 option going forward as opposed to the borderline RB1 option he's been for most of the season to date.
