James Robinson Officially Active In Week 1

2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson (Achilles) is officially active for the Week 1 season opener on Sunday against the Washington Commanders. Most fantasy managers were down on Robinson heading into draft season after he suffered a torn Achilles last year. On top of it, second-year back Travis Etienne Jr. is a major road block to Robinson's fantasy ceiling in 2022. However, head coach Doug Pederson hinted that the 24-year-old wouldn't have any limitations this weekend, so he could have a bigger early down workload than most expect. It remains uncertain how Jacksonville will split up the touches between Robinson and Etienne, which makes Robinson more of a low-upside RB4/flex for fantasy managers in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
