James Shields Settles Down After Rough First Inning
7 years agoAfter a rough first inning in which Chicago White Sox starting pitcher James Shields allowed four runs, the right-hander settled down and pitched five scoreless innings, allowing no hits. Shields did not record a strikeout and walked one batter. It’s nice to see Shields settle in after a rough start, but he is no longer a player who deserves to be rostered.
