3 years agoAdam Schefter of ESPN reports that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver James Washington has requested a trade. According to Schefter, Washington requested a trade based on his limited playing time last season and this preseason. The 25-year-old is buried on the wide receiver depth chart behind JuJu Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson, and Chase Claypool. Washington hauled in 30 catches on 56 targets for 392 yards and five touchdowns across 16 games in 2020. It remains to be seen if Pittsburgh will move the 2018 second-round pick, but he should generate plenty of interest from NFL teams in search of wideout depth. Stay tuned.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
