3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver James Washington could finally get his chance to become a major part of the offense in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. Starting wide receiver Chase Claypool (toe) is looking extremely unlikely to play, which would push Washington into the starting lineup opposite of Diontae Johnson this weekend. Washington has flashed at various times during his career but the Steelers haven't seemed particularly motivated to get him involved in the offense in 2021 despite the season-ending shoulder injury that JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered during Week 5. Unless desperate, fantasy gamers should give it a week and see how the Steelers use Washington against the Lions in Week 10 before inserting him into starting lineups.
