James White Not Cleared For Voluntary Workouts
3 years agoNew England Patriots running back James White (hip) likely won't be participating in voluntary offseason workouts. "I still have a little while to go after a pretty rough injury," said White. New England re-signed the veteran running back to a two-year, $5 million deal during the offseason. White sustained a hip injury last year that limited him to just three games. He finished the season with just 12 catches for 94 yards and 10 carries for 38 yards, and one touchdown. Assuming White is fully healthy recovered from his hip issue by training camp, he is expected to reclaim his pass-catching role in New England's backfield, making him a late-round flier in PPR formats in 2022.
