6 years agoNew England Patriots running back James White will continue to see his role expand with the news that running back Rex Burkhead has been placed on IR. White has enjoyed an active start to his season, with 14 receptions, two touchdowns and 191 yards from scrimmage. But White struggles to break tackles once he gets the ball and is more of a receiver than a runner from the backfield. He will go up against a Dolphins defense that has allowed the ninth most fantasy points and have already allowed 19 receptions in three games to opposing running backs. White will split snaps with rookie Sony Michel but, in the end, White will be on the field in the most crucial moments of the game.
