3 years agoFree-agent quarterback Jameis Winston said he's had conversations with the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints. The Saints already made him an offer earlier this offseason. "I still view myself as a starter in this league and that's what I'm looking for," Winston said. The Saints are currently the favorites to land Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson in a trade, so if that happens, Winston won't be back in New Orleans. The Colts have a glaring need at QB after trading Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders last week. Winston tore his ACL last November but has already resumed running and could be ready for the 2022 season. He had 14 touchdowns and three interceptions in seven games last year and could be a good fit in Indy, although it wouldn't give him much fantasy upside in a run-first offense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
