Jameson Taillon Continues Strong Start To Season Tuesday
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon improved to 2-1 in Tuesday's 9-1 win over the Blue Jays. Taillon pitched 6 innings, allowing one run on five hits and no walks with four strikeouts. The 30-year-old has gotten off to a promising start to the season, posting a 2.84 ERA with 21 strikeouts and just two walks over his first five starts and 25 1/3 IP. Taillon has been a viable fantasy option throughout his career but hasn't been this solid since 2018. He is currently rostered in just 36 percent of leagues and is definitely worth a look in deeper leagues at least at this time. Taillon may next face the Blue Jays at home, which would be his third matchup against them already this season. While they are a tough matchup, Taillon has pitched well in both matchups, so he's worth a shot for fantasy managers to start him.
