4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon looked good on Monday, tossing a clean seven-pitch inning with one strikeout. Monday was Taillon's first game action since he underwent Tommy John surgery in 2019, and he showed few signs of rust with his impressive performance. Taillon still has to work his changeup back into his pitch mix and build up more velocity before he's back to full strength, but Monday's outing should encourage fantasy managers. It's also worth noting that Taillon shortened his delivery to improve his control over the offseason, another aspect of Taillon's potential breakout 2021 campaign for fantasy managers to monitor.--Sam Chinitz
