2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon (forearm, wrist) expects to make his next start after leaving his last start early after taking a comebacker off his right wrist. There was a little bruising and swelling on Friday, but he was able to throw in the outfield. Taillon believes he'll make his next scheduled start on Monday against the Minnesota Twins in the Bronx as long as he comes out of his bullpen session on Saturday with no issues. It's good news for a Yankees rotation that is currently without Luis Severino and Nestor Cortes. The 30-year-old Taillon has been steady for New York this year, going 12-4 with a 3.97 ERA (4.09 FIP), a 1.12 WHIP and a 117:24 K:BB in 140 2/3 innings over his 26 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
