6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Jameson Taillon got his 12th win of the year on Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds. Taillon only allowed one run in five innings of work despite eight hits from the Reds offense. He did a good job stranding runners as the only run scored was a solo home run. Taillon had six strikeouts, and lowered his ERA to 3.40 on the year. He didn't get much in the way of run support from the Pirates lineup, but he the bullpen was able to pick him up.
