6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Jameson Taillon pitched six innings against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday. He gave up just one run on five hits while striking out eight batters. Taillon now has a 3.58 ERA. His season K/9 rests at 7.91, and he has a 9-9 record. Taillon still has some good opportunities as the Pirates are still in the hunt for a spot in the playoffs. The Pirates will most likely leave their starters in longer if they can, so that should result in better production from Taillon. Be sure to keep plugging him in your starting lineup.--Blake Sullivan
