Jameson Taillon Struggles Again Tuesday, Takes Loss
2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon turned in another dud of a start in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Pirates, falling to 9-2. Taillon pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on six hits (including two home runs) and no walks with five strikeouts. The 30-year-old started the season out very well but has compiled a bloated 5.12 ERA in his last seven starts since the beginning of June. He still has a respectable 3.63 ERA on the season, but fantasy managers may want to choose his matchups carefully in the coming weeks. This may include sitting Taillon in his next matchup on the road against the Red Sox.
