4 years agoDallas Stars forward Jamie Benn (lower body) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with the Predators. The Stars captain was hurt in the team's season opener against Nashville on Friday when he collided with Viktor Arvidsson in the second period. He returned for a power-play stint a bit later, but then didn't feature at all in the third period. Benn also missed Saturday's practice and didn't participate in Sunday morning's optional skate, so signs aren't great but the Stars haven't completely ruled him out for Sunday's matchup. Meanwhile, Joel Kiviranta (lower body) is certain to miss the game, because he has been placed on the injured reserve.
