5 years agoDallas Stars forward Jamie Benn notched two goals in Monday's matchup against the Lightning, helping the team to a 3-2 victory in overtime. Denis Gurianov opened the scoring for Dallas before Benn took over. Ben Bishop had 23 saves against his former team, taking his record for the season to 17-10-3. Benn had a miserable start to the season, scoring just once in his first 20 appearances, but he's started to make up for the lost time. The Stars captain has five goals in January, which is over a third of his overall tally (14). He gets one more game this month when the Stars host Toronto on Wednesday.
