Jamie Oleksiak Traded To The Dallas Stars
6 years agoThe Pittsburgh Penguins shipped veteran defenseman Jamie Oleksiak to the Dallas Stars on Monday in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Oleksiak will be making his second tour of duty with the Stars organization, making his debut and playing 16 games in 2012-13 after being picked 14th overall in the 2011 draft. He managed seven goals and 17 points with a minus-23 rating in 140 games with the Stars before being shipped to the Steel City during the 2017-18 season. He blossomed in Pittsburgh a bit, scoring eight goals with 17 points and a plus-18 rating across 83 games. Oleksiak is a low-end fantasy option in most pools, although he has posted 97 hits and 37 blocked shots in 36 games this season.
