3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder (groin) missed practice and is now "day to day" according to head coach Robert Saleh. In a crowded receiver room, the slot weapon didn't project to have a massive role in the remodeled Jets offense anyways. The former Washington wideout seems to have fallen out of favor for younger options and has even been brought up in trade rumors that could potentially ensue mid-season. Crowder is fairly unspectacular, but as long as he has a role and projects to produce fairly consistently, regardless of what team he's playing on. There are ways that drafting the 28-year-old could go poorly, but he's still worthy of being taken in standard drafts, albeit a few rounds later than fantasy managers have grown accustomed to. There are more moving parts this year than there have been static in recent memory, but Crowder is still an unexciting, consistent option that can be an injury or bye week filler on any fantasy team.--Jordan Eisen
