Jamison Crowder Doubtful To Play In Week 17
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder (calf) missed practice all week and is officially doubtful to play in Week 17 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Crowder is set to miss his second straight game with a calf ailment. Rookie receiver Elijah Moore (quadriceps) won't come off Injured Reserve just yet either, so the Jet will be down to Braxton Berrios, Keelan Cole and Denzel Mims in three-wide sets against a thin Buccaneers secondary on Sunday. Last week with Crowder and Moore out, Berrios led the team with five catches on six targets for 37 yards, while Cole caught two passes for 25 yards. Berrios is the one to target as a deep-league WR4/flex in PPR formats, while running backs Michael Carter and Ty Johnson could see their fair share of dump-off passes out of the backfield.
