Jamison Crowder Has A Shot To Play In Week 2
3 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that wide receiver Jamison Crowder has a shot to play in Week 2 versus the New England Patriots after sitting out in Week 1 while being in the league's COVID-19 protocols. Crowder has been a big part of the Jets offense over the last couple of seasons, but newly acquired wide receiver Corey Davis has become the No. 1 threat in the Jets offense and quarterback Sam Darnold has moved onto the Carolina Panthers. The Jets also spent an early pick on rookie Elijah Moore. Crowder is worth keeping tabs on, but Davis and Moore offer more upside in the Jets offense. Head coach Robert Saleh also said that wide receiver Keelan Cole (knee) has a shot to play in Week 2. Cole was inactive in Week 1 and can be left on the waiver wire in all formats at the moment.
