Jamison Crowder Likely To Move On
3 years agoNew York Jets impending free-agent wide receiver Jamison Crowder was the team's leading receiver in each of the last three seasons and caught 132 passes out of the slot (eighth-most in the NFL), but he's unlikely to return in 2022. Crowder took a $5 million pay cut last offseason and his durability is a concern, as he missed nine games in the last two years. If both Crowder and Braxton Berrios leave in free agency, Elijah Moore, who impressed in his rookie season, could be moved to the slot. Crowder played in 12 games for the Jets in 2021, finishing with 51 catches for 447 yards and two touchdowns on 71 targets. The 28-year-old pass-catcher could be a better late-round flier if he lands in a different situation.
