Jamison Crowder Poised For Strong Start To Season
5 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder is excited to step into the slot role in what should be an improved Jets offense. The slot receiver in coach Adam Gase's offense was good to Jarvis Landry in Miami and while Crowder is no Landry, he will fill a role in the offense that was missing during QB Sam Darnold's rookie season. Darnold had a league-worst completion percentage on throws of 1-10 yards so adding a quick receiver as Crowder should only help the sophomore signal-caller. Crowder should see some extra targets in Week 1 with starting tight end Chris Herndon suspended and number one receiver Robby Anderson being shadowed by Bills top corner Tre'Davious White. Crowder is a solid flex option with higher upside in PPR leagues.
