6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Jamison Crowder put forth his best performance of the young season on Sunday, catching all four of his targets for 39 yards and a touchdown. Even with Sunday's slightly encouraging performance in mind, Crowder needs to become more involved in Washington's offense in order to be considered for fantasy purposes. Having been targeted exactly four times each in the Redskins' first three games, Crowder is on pace for the lowest total of his career in that category. The Redskins have opted to pound the ball with Adrian Peterson when game flow allows for it. When they need to throw, Chris Thompson and Jordan Reed are the primary options. Washington's offense isn't explosive enough to sustain multiple outstanding fantasy performances on a weekly basis, and Crowder's spot in the pecking order has yet to provide him with enough volume to be consistently productive.--Chris O'Reilly
