Jamison Crowder Shines In Jets Debut
5 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder made a big statement in his first game with the team, catching 14 passes for 99 yards Sunday against the Bills. The Bills No. 1 ranked pass defense from last year took away the outside options but had no answer for Crowder, who consistently got open out of the slot, especially on third down. With starting tight end Chris Herndon IV suspended, Crowder was expected to see plenty of targets and he made the most of them, consistently being open when quarterback Sam Darnold was under pressure. He won't see 17 targets every week, but Crowder seems to be a favorite target of Darnold already and is worth starting in fantasy as a WR3 or flex option, especially in PPR formats.
