JaMycal Hasty Lands On Injured Reserve With Broken Collarbone
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie running back JaMycal Hasty (collarbone) was placed on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, ruling him out for at least the next three games. Fortunately for the 49ers, their hope is to have both Raheem Mostert (ankle) and Tevin Coleman (knee) back for the Week 12 matchup against the Rams, which would have severely hampered Hasty's outlook regardless. In addition to being utilized on special teams, Hasty had carved out a small niche as a rusher over the past five games as the team struggled with depth out of the backfield with both Mostert and Coleman sidelined. The combination of his injury and the return of those ahead of him on the depth chart means that Hasty can be returned to the waiver wire in all single-year formats for the time being.
