Janson Junk Struggles In Four Innings
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Janson Junk (0-1) wasn't a factor in the decision Wednesday night during the 12-inning affair with the Houston Astros. He did struggle, though, pitching four innings, allowing three runs, one walk, two home runs, and he added a strikeout in the eventual 9-5 loss. Junk has only made three starts on the season and has a 3.75 ERA over 12 innings, although with an unimpressive 9.8 K%. Before his call-up, he was pitching well in Double-A with a 2.81 ERA and 97 strikeouts across 93 innings. Fantasy managers should keep him on the waiver wire for the remainder of the season with his low inning totals.
