Jared Cook Has Another Touchdown Taken Away In Week 3
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Jared Cook had a quiet afternoon in Week 3 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran caught two of his three targets for 27 yards. For a second straight week, Cook had a touchdown called back with the Chargers committing a penalty. The Chargers are operating one of the better offenses in the league, but running back Austin Ekeler and wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams have been getting the bulk of the targets. Cook remains an inconsistent option at the tight end position and should be considered a TE2 moving forward in most formats. Next up for Cook will be a matchup versus the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4 and managers may want to look for a safer option on the waiver wire.
