Jared Cook Posts Just 21 Receiving Yards, Injures Groin
4 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook (groin) caught two of three targets for 21 receiving yards in a 37-30 loss to the Packers. Cook saw only three targets as he was blanketed by the Packers Defense and then left the game late in the third quarter with a groin injury. There's no word yet on the severity of the injury, but Cook was limping badly as he left the field. If he is forced to miss time, rookie Adam Trautman could see some more playing time. All other Saints pass-catchers would get a slight boost if Cook misses time, though we need to see a little more from Drew Brees in this offense to confidently use any secondary options.
