Jared Goff Falls Short Against Vikings
3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 21-of-35 passes for 203 yards, one interception and one lost fumble in the Lions heartbreaking 19-17 loss to the Vikings in Week 5. Turnovers plagued Goff's performance once again but he led the team down the field for a touchdown drive and then tossed a laser for a two-point conversion to briefly give the Lions a late lead. The Vikings would come back down and kick a last-second field goal and the Lions are now 0-5. Goff can put together competent drives but inconsistency and turnovers continue to doom his chances to have success on the field.
