Jared Goff Finally Gets Cooper Kupp Back
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (knee) is coming off ACL surgery, but he made it through training camp without issues and will play against the Panthers on Sunday without limitation. Kupp will likely be matched up against another player coming off a devastating injury, Ross Cockrell, who broke his leg in 2018. It's a matchup that Kupp can easily exploit. The Rams offense was not the same after Kupp went down last year, and quarterback Jared Goff should play better with his slot receiver back in the lineup. The Panthers improved their defensive front this offseason by adding defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, and the Rams offensive line is somewhat revamped after losing their center and one of their starting guards. This means Kupp should see plenty of targets, as the Rams will likely need to put the ball in the air a lot to win this one and possibly look to limit Todd Gurley's workload to keep him healthy throughout the season.
