Jared Goff Lands On COVID-19 List
3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has become the latest big name to land on the league's Reserve/COVID-19 list, just hours after leading his team to its second win of the season over Arizona. Goff played arguably his best game of the year Sunday, slinging three touchdown passes while going 21-for-26 through the air for 216 yards. The production was particularly surprising since the Lions were down tight end T.J. Hockenson (thumb) and running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder), the former of whom will miss the remainder of the season. Behind Goff on the depth chart are Tim Boyle and David Blough, who have seen limited duty this year in place of Goff. Boyle struggled in a Week 11 defeat, while Blough has taken just four snaps. An absence from Goff could bump the Falcons defense into streaming territory for Week 16, so fantasy managers will want to stay abreast of Goff's status throughout the week.
