Jared Goff's Fast Start Sputters Out In Loss
3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 22-of-36 passes for 268 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the Lions 29-18 loss to the Rams in Week 7. In his first game against the team that drafted him, Goff got off to a hot start by hitting running back D'Andre Swift on a screen pass that turned into a 63-yard touchdown. The Lions were able to manufacture some field goals but the turnover-bug bit Goff once again in the fourth quarter. Goff tossed interceptions on the first two drives of the final quarter and now has 10 turnovers on the season. The Lions are now 0-7 and Goff's play has regressed over the last month. He is not fantasy viable moving forward.
