4 years agoRecently signed New York Mets relief pitcher Jared Hughes, 35, has yet to appear in Mets' camp. The Mets have not provided any reason for Hughes' absence. Hughes posted a 4.04 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, one save, and 54 strikeouts in 71 1/3 innings for the Reds and Phillies in 2019. Hughes will likely serve in middle relief for the Mets this season, provided he is healthy and ready to go by Opening Day.
