Jared Spurgeon Busy In Overtime Home Setback
6 years agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon posted a goal, a power-play assist, two blocked shots and two hits in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss against the Carolina Hurricanes. Spurgeon entered the game scoreless through his first three outings. He also has three hits and seven blocked shots with four penalty minutes, as he is more of a help in those categories than the counting stats. Oddly enough, his most recent multi-point game also came against the Hurricanes at home back on March 6 of last season.
