3 years agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon ended his point drought in a grand way with three assists against the Vegas Golden Knights. Spurgeon had two helpers during the first period, including a buzzer beater from Mats Zuccarello. Then, he assisted on Marcus Foligno's 13th goal of the season early in the third period. Spurgeon is now up to eight assists and 11 points in 20 games. While shots and blocked shots are a bit down for the Minnesota defenseman, his 0.55 points per game is on target compared to his pre-pandemic totals. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
