3 years agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon (lower body) will end an eight-game absence on Thursday against San Jose. The Wild captain returns with the team sitting on a seven-game winning streak, so it appears that a strong team is about to get even stronger. Spurgeon averages over 20 minutes per game for Minnesota, and he's been doing a little bit of everything on the ice, recording eight points in 17 games with 14 hits and 23 blocks.
