4 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh went 1-for-4 with one double and one run scored in the Angels 6-1 loss to the Giants on Monday. The Angels are sinking in the standings but Walsh continues to be a bright spot. The young slugger finishes up the month of May slashing .288/.345/.587 with seven doubles, eight home runs, 13 runs scored and 20 runs batted in over his last 186 at-bats. Walsh is off to strong start and quietly is making a case for his first All-Star berth. For the season the 27-year-old is slashing .306/.369/.570 with 11 doubles, 12 home runs, 25 runs scored and 38 runs batted in.
