3 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh had three extra-base hits against the Kansas City Royals Tuesday, coming up a single shy of the cycle after producing a double, a triple, and a home run in six trips to the plate. He drove in two runs and scored twice. This would have been Walsh's second cycle in a matter of weeks, after he accomplished the feat against the New York Mets. Walsh has been outstanding of late, with a .293/.328/.569 slash line and seven homers in his last 30 games. He'll continue to be set up for success batting behind Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani every day.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
